Migrants and Refugees
“Forced like Jesus Christ to flee”
The 106th World Day of Migrants and Refugees is on Sunday September 27, 2020. The Holy Father has chosen the theme “Forced like Jesus Christ to flee” to focus on the pastoral care of internally displaced people (IDPs). The Migrants & Refugees Section is a small action-oriented Vatican office personally directed by Pope Francis to ensure that those forced to flee are not shut out or left behind. Pope Francis urges us this year to discover the reality of internally displaced people. Every month a new video will explore various aspects of the Holy Father’s message.
