Lesson 20: “Sound No Trumpet Before You”
Almsgiving is a traditional practice of the Judeo-Christian tradition that our Lord explicitly states will help his followers in their needs, are a great sign of trust in God and at the same time a sign of his abundant love for other through the work of his disciples. The help of almsgiving is that it frees us from attachment to wealth and things and attaches us more intimately to relationships with people and God.
