Tyler, TX | In the wake of all the Texas Dioceses releasing lists of the names of clergy credibly accused of sexual abuse, Bishop Strickland appeared on EWTN Nightly News on Friday (Feb. 1, 2019) and discussed his views on the abuse scandal plaguing the Church. Bishop Strickland repeatedly emphasizes the importance of the victims of these terrible crimes. The Diocese of Tyler released their short list on January 31, 2019.

Tyler, TX – “40 Days for Life – the nation’s most innovative, peaceful prayer outreach – is coming to Tyler,” said Rev. Nolan Lowry, who is coordinating the local campaign. “We are eager to join together with people of faith and conscience from 190 cities from coast to coast – and beyond – to pray for an end to abortion.”

On the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, Bishop Joseph Strickland and Dr. Stacy Trasancos unveiled the new painting which will hang in the Cathedral for generations to come: The Immaculate Conception by Robert Puschautz. Robert Puschautz is the Stabat Mater Art Fellow for the St. Philip Institute and is hard at work to produce more masterful paintings like this one.
