Serving Students with Special Needs session will address the Call of the Church to provide formation for ALL members of the Body of Christ. To meet the needs of this community, catechists and directors must implement meaningful catechesis which is adaptable for a variety of learning styles and abilities using multi-sensory strategies and approaches that teach to individual student strengths. This session will assist catechists and DREs resources for how to get the program started as well as adaptable lessons and lesson plans for catechists and families to use throughout the year.
Luci Holloway is currently the Regional Manager and Education Consultant for Loyola Press, a position she has held for over 7 years. Luci holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education and a Masters Degree in Education and Administration. Her previous experience includes 22 years of training, coaching teachers and catechists in classroom strategies and techniques as well as assisting schools and parishes with program design.
